Disney + | Here’s what we know about the new streaming service

Disney’s much anticipated streaming service, Disney Plus, is well on the way.

On a Friday Disney threw all their cards on the table.

Here’s what we’ve learned:

Disney Plus will launch on November 12.

Subscriptions start at $6.99USD.

There’ll be 7500 episodes of TV content in the first year and 500 films.

You’ll be able to download all content, enabling you to watch it offline.

You’ll be able to personalise your Disney Plus profile with characters from all your favourite Disney films. You’ll also be able to customise settings for each profile.

Disney Plus will roll out worldwide over the next two years.

DISNEY/PIXAR

The entire Disney Signature Collection will be available at launch, which includes nine of Disney’s most classic films: Snow White, Cinderella, Bambi, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, Lady and the Tramp, Pinocchio and Beauty and the Beast, and of course… The Lion King.

All Pixar films will be rolled out in the first year, including all the theatrical shorts.

Toy Story 4′s newest character, Forky, will star in Forky Asks A Question, a Pixar short.

Lamp Life is another new Pixar short staring OG Bo Peep.

Frozen 2 is hitting cinemas at the end of the year, Into The Unknown is a Disney documentary which follows the making of film.

Mary Poppins, Alice In Wonderland (2010), will be available at launch.

A live-action Lady and the Tramp remake will be there at launch.

MARVEL

WandaVision is a new series with Scarlet Witch and Vision at the helm, Elisabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will star.

Captain Marvel will be available to stream at launch.

Loki, staring Tom Hiddleston, is on the way, but not looking likely for launch.

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will star in Falcon and Winter Soldier.

Marvel’s What If…?, the first animated series from Marvel Studios.

STAR WARS

All Star Wars films will roll out in the first year.

Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian will be available at launch.

Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk (Rogue One) will both star in a new TV series around character, Cassian Andor.

New season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming, no date set.

DISNEY CHANNEL/KIDS TV

We’ll see 5000 episodes of Disney Channel content.

100 Disney Channel original movies will be available at launch.

Phineas and Ferb are back with a new animated movie.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is on the way, but won’t be there at launch.

Malcolm in the Middle will be there.

OTHER

The Simpsons, every episode we presume (new and old), will be available to stream at launch.

Over 250 hours of National Geographic content will be available at launch.

Togo is another Disney original coming to Disney Plus. Togo will see Willem Dafoe take the reigns of a team of sled dogs in Alaska.

Noelle, staring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader will be here in time for Christmas.

Tom McCarthy with direct a new series named, Timmy Failure. This is expected to land in year one of Disney Plus.

A film named Stargirl, based off the book by Jerry Spinelli, will be here in the first year.

The World According to Jeff Goldblum, at National Geographic production, will be available at launch.
